Data Protection 2017

Presented by Paul Harris - 1.5 CPD Points

Course Description: Currently, Data Protection, is legislated by the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). The DPA places obligations on organisations that use personal information and gives individuals certain rights.  However, in Europe, EU institutions have paid attention to citizens’ demands for greater data protection. This course examines the enhanced requirements under this regulation, which must not be under-estimated for any organisation, however small, regardless of Brexit.
