2025 Employment Rights Bill & further government plans. This course will go live by the end of January.
Course Description: 'Make Work Pay: A new deal for working people' is a comprehensive document setting out the Labour government's vision for employment going forward. Many of the contents of this document are in the Employment Rights Bill, but there are also contents that are in the Equality (Race and Disability) Bill, contents that do not need legislation to introduce and contents that will form part of the longer term reforms of the Labour government.
In this session we will explain the thought behind the 'Make Work Pay' document, and then look at the detail and timing of the Employment Rights Bill. We will then work through everything else in the 'Make Work Pay' document, explaining how and when this will be progressed.
